Details
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Created the “Prague Modern City Guide,” an in-depth exploration of Prague’s contemporary side, highlighting the city’s vibrant blend of modern architecture, cultural hubs, and innovative spaces.
CHALLENGE
To reveal the often-overlooked modern aspects of Prague—a city renowned for its historical charm—by focusing on its evolving architecture, creative energy, and progressive cultural landscape. The goal was to create a guide that appeals to those interested in Prague’s transformation through modern art, design, and lifestyle.
SOLUTION
Crafted a guide that captures the essence of modern Prague by personally visiting and selecting each location, ensuring an authentic, up-to-date perspective. Key aspects of the guide include:
• Architectural Icons: Featured modern landmarks like the Masaryčka building and Štvanice Footbridge, which represent Prague’s commitment to innovative design and sustainable development.
• Creative Hubs: Highlighted spaces such as Vnitroblock and Kunsthalle Prague, where art, design, and community converge in unique, repurposed industrial environments, showcasing the city’s modern cultural pulse.
• Urban Experiences: Explored destinations like SkatePark Vltavská and Eska Bakery, which embody Prague’s youthful energy and innovative spirit, offering a fresh take on local culture.
HIGHLIGHTS
The guide unveils a side of Prague that’s often overshadowed by its historical sites, with sections dedicated to:
• Cutting-edge architectural landmarks shaping the city’s skyline
• Creative spaces where art and community intersect
• Modern culinary and cultural spots that reflect Prague’s evolving identity
